Welcome to the second part of our two-part series on how our team wins deals. Today we’re discussing the lending aspect of the deal. The lender is a critical part of getting the deal and then the transaction itself.
We do three things to guarantee that the lending element of the deal is done properly. First, we ensure the lender has checked you out through underwriting. A good listing agent will ask if you have gone through automated underwriting. Next, we’ll make sure the lender has checked all your paperwork and doesn’t need anything else.

Finally, we certify that the lender communicates well with both us and the listing agent. We often use Eric Putt from Waterstone Mortgage, and he’ll actually call up the listing agent and tell them how great of a borrower our client is and that the file on them shows they’ll have a smooth transaction. That kind of communication from the very beginning helps us win the deal.
