I wanted to share with you what independence means to me.
Happy Fourth of July! I was recently reflecting on what the word “independence” means to me. It means I can live out my passions, grow my dreams as big as I like, make a different path, vote for who I want, choose who I worship, speak openly about my thoughts, protest when I want to, and proudly celebrate this not perfect but still great United States of America. This holiday will likely be a bit different due to the coronavirus, but I hope you still enjoy it. Have an excellent Fourth of July, eat lots of watermelon, and enjoy the fireworks!
